Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA) provides a safe and comfortable place to stay while you wait for your long-term housing to be finalised. EJ Care offers supportive, structured accommodation for NDIS participants who need temporary housing paired with daily assistance, routine support and access to essential activities.

Whether you're transitioning into Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), moving to a new home, or awaiting a final housing decision, we make sure you feel supported every step of the way.

We provide MTA across Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs.

How We Support MTA

During your medium-term stay, we can assist with:

  • 1:1 daily support across personal care and hygiene
  • Assistance with meals, eating and daily routines
  • Help with household tasks such as cleaning, tidying and laundry
  • Support attending health appointments and therapy schedules
  • Maintaining social connections and community participation
  • A stable, comfortable living environment during transitional periods
  • Support organising or preparing for your long-term accommodation
  • Encouragement and reassurance during big life transitions

Who MTA Is For

Medium-Term Accommodation is ideal for NDIS participants who:

  • Are waiting for long-term housing to become available
  • Are transitioning into SDA or a new living environment
  • Need temporary accommodation with daily support
  • Want stability during a period of change
  • Require assistance maintaining routines and appointments

MTA is funded for participants who have long-term housing approved but not yet ready.
